सोम॒ ओष॑धीभि॒रुद॑क्राम॒त् तां पुरं॒ प्र ण॑यामि वः । तामा वि॑शत॒ तां प्र वि॑शत॒ सा वः॒ शर्म॑ च॒ वर्म॑ च यच्छतु

IAST Transliteration

sóma óṣadhībhirúdakrāmat; tā́m púraṃ prá ṇayāmi vaḥ | tā́m ā́ viśata, tā́m prá viśata; sā́ vaḥ śárma ca várma ca yacchatu ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Soma with the herbs strode forth: that fortress I lead forward unto you. Enter ye into it, enter ye full into it: may she bestow on you both shelter and armour.

Translation

സോമൻ ഔഷധികളോടുകൂടെ മുന്നോട്ട് നടന്നു; ആ ദുർഗ്ഗത്തെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളിലേക്കു മുന്നോട്ട് നയിക്കുന്നു. അതിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കുവിൻ, അതിൽ പൂർണ്ണമായി പ്രവേശിക്കുവിൻ; അവൾ നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ആശ്രയം (ശർമ)യും കവചം (വർമ)യും രണ്ടും നൽകട്ടെ.
