Sukta 2
ह्वया॑मि ते॒ मन॑सा॒ मन॑ इ॒हेमान् गृ॒हाँ उप॑ जुजुषा॒ण एहि॑ । सं ग॑च्छस्व पि॒तृभिः॒ सं य॒मेन॑ स्यो॒नास्त्वा॒ वाता॒ उप॑ वान्तु श॒ग्माः
hvayā́mi te mánasā máná ihémān gṛhā́n úpa jujuṣāṇá éhi | sáṃ gácchasva pitṛ́bhiḥ sáṃ yaména syóṇās tvā vātā́ úpa vāntu śagmā́ḥ ||
With mind I call thy mind: hither, to these houses, come, consenting and well-pleased. Then go thou forth in company with the Fathers, in company with Yama; may kindly winds, strong to aid, blow round about thee.
ഞാൻ മനസ്സുകൊണ്ട് നിന്റെ മനസ്സിനെ ഹ്വയാമി (ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു): ഇവിടെ, ഈ ഗൃഹങ്ങളിലേക്കു, സമ്മതിച്ച് സന്തോഷത്തോടെ വരിക. പിന്നെ പിതൃകളോടൊപ്പം, യമനോടൊപ്പം സം ഗച്ഛസ്വ (കൂടെ പോകുക); സ്യോണാ, സഹായകവും ശക്തവുമായ വാതങ്ങൾ നിന്റെ ചുറ്റും ഉപ വാന്തു (സ്നേഹത്തോടെ വീശട്ടെ).
