ऋचः॒ प्राञ्च॒स्तन्त॑वो॒ यजूं॑षि ति॒र्यञ्चः॑

Sanskrit recitationAtharva Veda 15.3.6

ṛ́caḥ prā́ñcas tántavo yájūṃṣi tiryáñcaḥ

The Ṛc-verses are the forward-running threads; the Yajus-formulas are the crosswise.

ഋചഃ (ഋഗ്വേദീയ ഋചകൾ) മുന്നോട്ടോടുന്ന നൂല്തന്തുക്കളാണ്; യജൂംഷി (യജുര്‍വേദീയ യജുസ്-സൂത്രങ്ങൾ) അಡ್ಡ (തിരശ്ചീന) തന്തുക്കളാണ്.
