वेद आस्तरणं ब्रह्मोपबर्हणम्

IAST Transliteration

véda ā́staraṇaṃ bráhmopabárhaṇam

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

The Veda is the spreading-bedding; the Brahman is the bolster.

Translation

വേദം വിരിപ്പായ ആസ്തരണം (പായ/വിരിപ്പ്) ആകുന്നു; ബ്രഹ്മം ഉപബർഹണം—താങ്ങുതലയണ (ബോൾസ്റ്റർ) ആകുന്നു.
