यो रोहि॑तो वृष॒भस्ति॒ग्मशृ॑ङ्गः॒ पर्य॒ग्निं परि॒ सूर्यं॑ ब॒भूव॑ । यो वि॑ष्ट॒भ्नाति॑ पृथि॒वीं दिवं॑ च॒ तस्मा॑द् दे॒वा अधि॒ सृष्टीः॑ सृजन्ते
yó róhito vṛṣabhás tigmá-śṛṅgaḥ pár yagníṃ pári sū́ryaṃ babhū́va | yó viṣṭabh́nāti pṛthivī́ṃ dívaṃ ca tásmād devā́ ádhi sṛ́ṣṭīḥ sṛjante
Rohita, the bull with sharp-pointed horns, hath compassed Agni round, hath compassed round the Sun; he who upholds apart both Earth and Heaven—from him the Gods, thereon, send forth their ordered creations.
