keśavardhanī́ óṣadhiḥ | imā́ yā́s tisráḥ pṛthivī́s tāsā́ṃ ha bhū́mir uttamā́ | tāsā́m ádhi tváco aháṃ bheṣajáṃ sámu jagrabhám

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

The Hair-Increaser is a herb. Of these three earths, verily the soil is the highest; from their surface-skin have I wholly taken the remedy.

Translation

ಕೇಶವರ್ಧನೀ ಎಂಬುದು ಒಂದು ಔಷಧಿ. ಈ ಮೂರು ಪೃಥ್ವಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಭೂಮಿಯೇ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ; ಅವುಗಳ ತ್ವಚೆಯಂತಿರುವ ಮೇಲ್ಮೈಯಿಂದ ನಾನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಈ ಭೇಷಜ (ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ)ವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡೆ.
