គាថាសម្រាប់ជ័យជម្នះនិងសម្បត្តិនេះ បរិសុទ្ធរថចម្បាំងរបស់យុទ្ធជន ដោយអញ្ជើញព្រះវនស្បតិ ជាអម្ចាស់នៃឈើ និងដោយបង្ហាញរថនោះថាជាអំណាចដូចវជ្ររបស់ព្រះឥន្ទ្រ។ មន្ត្រទាំងនេះរួមបញ្ចូលឈើ អំណាចគោ និងកម្លាំងទឹក និងឫទ្ធិាសមរភាពព្រះ ដើម្បីឲ្យអ្នកចម្បាំងជិះរថទទួលបានជ័យជម្នះនិងទ្រព្យសម្បត្តិ ខណៈរថនៅតែមាំមួន មានការការពារ និងមានប្រសិទ្ធភាព។
Mantra 1
वीरस्य रथः। वन॑स्पते वी॒ड्वऽङ्गो॒ हि भू॒या अ॒स्मत्स॑खा प्र॒तर॑णः सु॒वीरः॑ । गोभिः॒ संन॑द्धो असि वी॒डय॑स्वास्था॒ता ते॑ जयतु॒ जेत्वा॑नि
រថរបស់វីរបុរស។ ហៃអ្នកជាម្ចាស់នៃព្រៃអើយ សូមឲ្យទ្រង់មានរូបសណ្ឋានមាំទាំពិតប្រាកដ ជាមិត្តរបស់យើង ដែលឆ្លងកាត់ មានវីរបុរសច្រើន។ ទ្រង់ត្រូវបានដេរដាស់នឹងគោហើយ សូមឲ្យមាំទាំ សូមឲ្យអ្នកដែលឡើងជិះទ្រង់មានជ័យជម្នះ និងឈ្នះនូវការឈ្នះទាំងឡាយ។

दि॒वस्पृ॑थि॒व्याः पर्योज॒ उद्भृ॑तं॒ वन॒स्पति॑भ्यः॒ पर्याभृ॑तं॒ सहः॑ । अ॒पामो॒ज्मानं॒ परि॒ गोभि॒रावृ॑त॒मिन्द्र॑स्य॒ वज्रं॑ ह॒विषा॒ रथं॑ यज
ចូរធ្វើបូជាដោយវត្ថុបូជាចំពោះរថនោះ គឺអាវុធវជ្រៈរបស់ព្រះឥន្ទ្រ: ដែលជាខ្លាំងអានុភាពកើតចេញពីស្ថានសួគ៌និងផែនដី ជាកំលាំងដែលបាននាំយកមកពីពួកអ្នកគ្រប់គ្រងព្រៃ; ជាខ្លាំងអានុភាពពេញលេញនៃទឹកទាំងឡាយ ដែលត្រូវបានហ៊ុមព័ទ្ធដោយគោ។

इन्द्र॒स्यौजो॑ म॒रुता॒मनी॑कं मि॒त्रस्य॒ गर्भो॒ वरु॑णस्य॒ नाभिः॑ । स इ॒मां नो॑ ह॒व्यदा॑तिं जुषा॒णो देव॑ रथ॒ प्रति॑ ह॒व्या गृभाय
នេះគឺខ្លាំងអានុភាពរបស់ព្រះឥន្ទ្រ គឺជាខ្សែរបស់ពួកទេពមរុត; គឺជាផ្ទៃពោះរបស់ព្រះមិត្រ គឺជាមជ្ឈដ្ឋានរបស់ព្រះវរុណ។ ហើយទេពអើយ រថអើយ ដោយទទួលយកវត្ថុបូជានេះជាទានដល់យើងខ្ញុំ ចូរកាន់យកវត្ថុបូជាទាំងនោះដើម្បីតបស្នងចុះ។
It is used to consecrate and empower a chariot before conflict or a campaign, so the vehicle is firm, protected, and brings victory and spoils to the rider.
Because the chariot is made of wood; Vanaspati is the divine power within trees and timber, invoked to make the frame strong, steady, and successful in its martial purpose.
It ritually identifies the chariot with Indra’s decisive striking power—turning the vehicle into a thunderbolt-like instrument so the warrior’s movement and impact become victorious and protected.
