प्राग्नये विश्वशुचे धियंधेऽसुरघ्ने मन्म धीतिं भरध्वम् । भरे हविर्न बर्हिषि प्रीणानो वैश्वानराय यतये मतीनाम् ॥

Transliteration

prā́gnáye viśvá-śúce dhiyáṃdhe ’sura-ghné mánma dhītíṃ bharadhvam | bháre havír ná bárhiṣi prīṇānó vaiśvānaráya yátaye matīnā́m ||

Translation

Hadirkanlah pemikiran bagi Agni, Yang Mahamemurnikan, pembinasa kuasa-kuasa yang memusuhi; bawalah sabda ilham dan kecerdasan yang melihat. Seperti yang dipuaskan di atas barhis (hamparan suci) laksana persembahan, ia berjerih bagi Vaiśvānara, penuntun bagi pikiran-pikiran kami.
