Sukta 8.21
वयं हि त्वा बन्धुमन्तमबन्धवो विप्रास इन्द्र येमिम । या ते धामानि वृषभ तेभिरा गहि विश्वेभिः सोमपीतये ॥
vayáṃ hí tvā bandhu-mántam abandhávo víprāsa indra yemimá | yā́ te dhā́māni vṛṣabha tébhir ā́ gahi víśvebhiḥ sóma-pītaye ||
Pues nosotros, sin otros apoyos, nos aferramos a ti como al que está lleno de vínculos verdaderos; oh Indra, nosotros, los videntes, nos adherimos a ti. Oh Toro de fuerza, ven con todas tus moradas y poderes, al beber del Soma; entra con todo tu ser en nuestra ofrenda y en nuestro ascenso.
