पवस्व सोम देववीतये वृषेन्द्रस्य हार्दि सोमधानमा विश । पुरा नो बाधाद्दुरिताति पारय क्षेत्रविद्धि दिश आहा विपृच्छते ॥
páv asva soma devá-vītaye vṛ́ṣéndrasya hā́rdi soma-dhā́nam ā́ víśa | purā́ no bādhā́d duritā́ti pāraya kṣetra-víd dhi díśa ā́hā vi-pṛcchate ||
اِندفِقْ يا سوما لِمَتاعِ الآلهة؛ وادخُلْ مَقعدَ سوما في قلبِ الثورِ إندرا. وقبل أن يَحِلَّ بنا، اعبرْ بنا وراءَ الضيقِ والشرّ. يا عارفَ الحقل، أعلِنِ الجهاتِ لمن يسأل.
