Sukta 9.69
सिन्धोरिव प्रवणे निम्न आशवो वृषच्युता मदासो गातुमाशत । शं नो निवेशे द्विपदे चतुष्पदेऽस्मे वाजाः सोम तिष्ठन्तु कृष्टयः ॥
síndhor-iva pravaṇé nímna āśávo vṛ́ṣa-cyutā mádāso gātúm āśata | śáṃ no nivēśé dvi-padé catúṣ-padé ’smé vājā́ḥ soma tiṣṭhantu kṛ́ṣṭayaḥ ||
كَانْدِفاعِ النَّهْرِ هابِطًا مِنَ المُنْحَدَرِ إِلى المَنْخَفَضِ، وَجَدَتِ النَّشَواتُ السَّريعَةُ—المَصْبوبَةُ مِنَ الثَّوْرِ—مَسارَها. سَلامٌ لِمَسْكَنِنا، لِذِي القَدَمَيْنِ وَلِذِي الأَرْبَعِ؛ وَفينا، يا سُوما، لِتَثْبُتْ فُيوضُ القُوَّةِ راسِخَةً، وَلْتَسْتَقِرَّ الشُّعوبُ.
