Sukta 8.47
अदितिर्न उरुष्यत्वदितिः शर्म यच्छतु । माता मित्रस्य रेवतोऽर्यम्णो वरुणस्य चानेहसो व ऊतयः सुतयो व ऊतयः ॥
áditiḥ na uruṣyátv áditiḥ śárma yacchatu | mātā́ mitrásya revató ’ryamṇó váruṇasya ca anehasaḥ vo ūtáyaḥ su-ūtáyaḥ vo ūtáyaḥ ||
لْتُفْسِحْ أَدِيتِي لنا وتَحْمِنا؛ ولْتَهَبْ أَدِيتِي لنا مَأْوَى السَّلَام—هي أُمُّ مِتْرَا الغنيِّ بالنور، وأَرْيَمَن، وفَرُونَة. فَلْتَكُنْ مَعَنا مَعُونَاتُكُمُ التي لا تُؤْذِي، مَعُونَاتُكُمُ الصالحة.
