Sukta 7.62
स सूर्य प्रति पुरो न उद्गा एभिः स्तोमेभिरेतशेभिरेवैः । प्र नो मित्राय वरुणाय वोचोऽनागसो अर्यम्णे अग्नये च ॥
sá sū́rya práti puró na udgā́ ebhíḥ stómebhir etaśébhir évaiḥ | prá no mitrā́ya váruṇāya voco'nā́gaso aryámṇe agnáye ca ||
يا سُورْيَا، أنشد أمامنا، في المقدّمة، بهذه الأناشيد السريعة الاندفاع وبهذه الدوافع المحرِّكة. ولتنطلق كلمتنا إلى مِترا، وإلى فَرُونَا، وإلى أَرْيَمَن، وإلى أَغْنِي—لكي نكون بلا ذنب ونمضي في النظام القويم (ṛta).
