Sukta 7.30
हवन्त उ त्वा हव्यं विवाचि तनूषु शूराः सूर्यस्य सातौ । त्वं विश्वेषु सेन्यो जनेषु त्वं वृत्राणि रन्धया सुहन्तु ॥
hávanta u tvā havyáṃ vívāci tanū́ṣu śūrā́ḥ sū́ryasya sātáu | tváṃ víśveṣu sényo jáneṣu tváṃ vṛtrā́ṇi randhayā suhántu ||
إنهم يدعونك—قُربانًا مقدّسًا (havya)—بكلمةٍ بعيدةِ الصدى؛ أبطالٌ في أجسادهم، في ظَفَرِ سُوريا. أنتَ أهلُ القتال بين جميع الشعوب؛ تُخضعُ فِرِترا وسائرَ قوى العَرقلة، لكي تُضرَبَ ضربةً حسنةً وتُصرَع.
