अयं विदच्चित्रदृशीकमर्णः शुक्रसद्मनामुषसामनीके । अयं महान्महता स्कम्भनेनोद्द्यामस्तभ्नाद्वृषभो मरुत्वान् ॥

ayáṃ víd ac citradṛ́śīkam árṇaḥ śukrásadmanām uṣásām ánīke | ayáṃ mahā́n mahatā́ skámbhanenódd yā́m astabhnād vṛṣabhó marútvān ||

هو الذي اهتدى إلى السيلِ ذي الرؤى المتعددة، في المسكنِ المتلألئ، عند وجهِ الفجرات (أوشاس). وهو العظيم؛ بقوةِ عمودٍ جبارٍ أسندَ السماءَ في العلاء—الثورُ، المصحوبُ بالماروت.
