Sukta 6.40
समिद्धे अग्नौ सुत इन्द्र सोम आ त्वा वहन्तु हरयो वहिष्ठाः । त्वायता मनसा जोहवीमीन्द्रा याहि सुविताय महे नः ॥
sámiddhe agnáu sutá índra sóma ā́ tvā vahantu háryo váhiṣṭhāḥ | tvāyatā mánasā johavī́mī́ndra ā́ yāhi suvitā́ya mahé naḥ ||
حين يُوقَدُ أَغْنِي ويُعْصَرُ السُّوما، يا إندرا، فَلْتَحْمِلْكَ إلى ههنا الجيادُ الشُّقْرُ الأشدُّ حَمْلًا. وبعقلٍ مُتَوَجِّهٍ إليكَ كُلِّيًّا أَدْعوك: تعالَ يا إندرا لِسُبُلِنا العُظمى—لِليُمنٍ وظَفَرٍ وتَقَدُّمٍ مُنتَصِر.
