Sukta 6.33
य ओजिष्ठ इन्द्र तं सु नो दा मदो वृषन्त्स्वभिष्टिर्दास्वान् । सौवश्व्यं यो वनवत्स्वश्वो वृत्रा समत्सु सासहदमित्रान् ॥
ya ojiṣṭha indra taṃ su no dā mado vṛṣan svabhiṣṭir dāsvān | sauvaśvyaṃ yo vana-vat sv-aśvo vṛtrā samat-su sāsahad amitrān ||
تلك النشوةُ الأشدُّ بأسًا، يا إندرا، هَبْها لنا—يا ثورَ العطاء، واهبَ التمتّعِ القويم. وقوّةُ الخيلِ الحسنةِ البهيّة، وسلطانُ الظفرِ الذي يغلب كغِنى الغابة—الذي به قهرتَ فِرِترا (Vṛtra) وفي المعارك أخضعتَ الأعداء—فامنحْنا إيّاه.
