Sukta 6.23
पाता सुतमिन्द्रो अस्तु सोमं प्रणेनीरुग्रो जरितारमूती । कर्ता वीराय सुष्वय उ लोकं दाता वसु स्तुवते कीरये चित् ॥
pā́tā sutám índro astu sómaṃ praṇenī́r ugró jaritā́ram ūtī́ | kártā vīrā́ya súṣvaya u lokáṃ dā́tā vásu stuváte kīráye cit ||
ليَشربْ إندرا السُّوما المعصور—قائدًا عاتيًا، يُقدِّم المُنشدَ إلى الأمام بحمايته. هو يَصنعُ للبطل الذي يُحسن العصرَ فَسحةَ وجودٍ واسعة؛ ويَهَبُ الثروةَ حتى للشاعر الذي يُسبِّح.
