प्र च्यवानाज्जुजुरुषो वव्रिमत्कं न मुञ्चथः । युवा यदी कृथः पुनरा काममृण्वे वध्वः ॥

Transliteration

prá cyavānā́j jujurúṣo vavrím atkáṃ ná muñcathaḥ | yúvā yádī kṛtháḥ púnar ā́ kā́mam ṛṇve vádhvaḥ ||

Translation

ومن شْيَفانا (Cyavāna) الذي أكلَه الكِبَر، لم تُنزِعا الغِشاءَ المُحيطَ به كما يُطرَح الثوب؛ بل حين جعلتماه فتىً من جديد، تَحقَّقَت رغبةُ العروسِ مرّةً أخرى.
