इरावतीर्वरुण धेनवो वां मधुमद्वां सिन्धवो मित्र दुह्रे । त्रयस्तस्थुर्वृषभासस्तिसृणां धिषणानां रेतोधा वि द्युमन्तः ॥

Transliteration

irā́vatīr varuṇa dhenávo vāṃ mádhumad vāṃ síndhavo mitra duhre | tráyas tasthur vṛṣabhā́s tisṛ́ṇāṃ dhiṣáṇānāṃ reto-dhā́ ví dyu-mántaḥ ||

Translation

يا ڤارونا، إنّ الأبقارَ المُغذّية (dhenú) لقوّتِك، الغنيّةَ بالوفرة، تدرّ؛ ويا مِترا، إنّ الأنهارَ المُعسَّلة من كينونتِك تفيض. ثلاثةُ ثيرانٍ جبّارةٍ تقومُ حاملةً للبذرة لثلاثِ «دهيصانا» (إلهام/بصيرة)، متألّقةً بقوّةٍ ضيائيّة.
