Sukta 5.59
अश्वा इवेदरुषासः सबन्धवः शूरा इव प्रयुधः प्रोत युयुधुः । मर्या इव सुवृधो वावृधुर्नरः सूर्यस्य चक्षुः प्र मिनन्ति वृष्टिभिः ॥
aśvā́ ived arúṣāsaḥ sá-bandhavaḥ śū́rā iva pra-yúdhaḥ próta yuyudhuḥ | maryā́ iva su-vṛ́dho vāvṛdhur nárāḥ sū́ryasya cákṣuḥ prá minanti vṛṣṭí-bhiḥ ||
حقًّا، كخيلٍ حُمْرٍ موثوقةٍ كالأقارب، وكأبطالٍ مُسَلَّحينَ للهُجوم يَندَفِعونَ ويُنازِعون؛ وكالشُّبّانِ المُحارِبينَ يَنمونَ نُمُوًّا حَسَنًا—فهذه القُوى تُعَتِّمُ عينَ سُوريا بأمطارِها (ليُطلَقَ النورُ المَستورُ من جديد).
