किं नो अस्य द्रविणं कद्ध रत्नं वि नो वोचो जातवेदश्चिकित्वान् । गुहाध्वनः परमं यन्नो अस्य रेकु पदं न निदाना अगन्म ॥
kíṃ no asyá dráviṇaṃ kád dha rátnam ví no voco jātavedas cikitvā́n | guhā́dhvanaḥ paramáṃ yán no asyá réku padáṃ ná nidānā́ áganma ||
ما ثروتُه الحقّة لنا، وما كنزُه حقّاً؟ بيّنه لنا، يا جاتافيداس، أيها العارف. فإنّا قد جئنا طلاباً لا مجادلين، إلى تلك الخطوةِ العليا المستترة في كهفِ الطريق—مقامِه المتلألئ.
