Sukta 4.41
इन्द्रा को वां वरुणा सुम्नमाप स्तोमो हविष्माँ अमृतो न होता । यो वां हृदि क्रतुमाँ अस्मदुक्तः पस्पर्शदिन्द्रावरुणा नमस्वान् ॥
índrā́ kó vāṃ varuṇā́ sumnám āpa stómo havíṣmāṃ amṛ́to ná hótā | yó vāṃ hṛdí krátumān asmád uktaḥ pásparśad indrāvaruṇā́ námasvān ||
يا إندرا وفارونا، أيُّ ترنيمةٍ مقرونةٍ بالقرابين بلغت نعمتكما، كالكاهنِ (الهوتَر) الخالدِ الحاملِ للهَفِس؟ إنَّ قولَنا، الموهوبَ كْرَتو (العزمَ المقدّس) في القلب، قد مسَّكما—يا إندرا-فارونا—ساجدًا بخشوعٍ ونَمَس.
