एवा त इन्द्रोचथमहेम श्रवस्या न त्मना वाजयन्तः । अश्याम तत्साप्तमाशुषाणा ननमो वधरदेवस्य पीयोः ॥
Transliteration
evā́ ta indrocátham ahema śravasyā́ ná tmanā́ vājáyantaḥ | aśyā́ma tát sā́ptam āśuṣāṇā́ nanámo vádhar ádevasya pīyóḥ ||
Translation
هكذا، يا إندرا، نُنشِدُ ثناءَكَ طلبًا للذِّكرِ الحسن، مُجاهدين بأنفسِنا لنَفوزَ بالوفرة. لعلّنا نبلغُ «السابع» مُندفعين؛ ولتنحنِ أمامَنا سِلاحُ من لا إلهَ لهم—قوّةُ العدوِّ المتورِّمة.
