त्वां पूर्व ऋषयो गीर्भिरायन्त्वामध्वरेषु पुरुहूत विश्वे । सहस्राण्यधिरथान्यस्मे आ नो यज्ञं रोहिदश्वोप याहि ॥
tvā́ṃ pū́rva ṛ́ṣayo gīrbhír ā́yan tvā́m adhvaréṣu puruhūta víśve | sahasrā́ṇy ádhirathāny asmè ā́ nó yajñáṃ rohidáśvópa yāhi ||
إليك أتى رِشِيّو الأوّلينَ بـ«گير» (أناشيدِهم)؛ وفي «الأدْهْفَرا» (القرابين) دعاكَ الجميع، يا كثيرَ النداء. احملْ إلينا ألفَ مركبةِ حركة؛ وتعالَ إلى «اليَجْنَيا» (قربانِنا)، يا ذا الجيادِ الرُّدْه—أقبِلْ بالقوةِ السريعةِ التي تُدخِلُ النورَ في العمل.
