कथा कविस्तुवीरवान्कया गिरा बृहस्पतिर्वावृधते सुवृक्तिभिः । अज एकपात्सुहवेभिॠक्वभिरहिः शृणोतु बुध्न्यो हवीमनि ॥

Transliteration

kathā́ kavís tuvīrávān káyā girā́ bृहáspátir vāvṛdhate suvṛ́ktibhiḥ | ajá ékapāt suhávebhir ṛ́kvabhir áhíḥ śṛṇotu budhnyò havī́mani ||

Translation

كيفَ، وبأيِّ كلمةٍ، ينمو الكافي ذو البأس—بْرِهَسْبَتي—بِالأقوالِ المُحكَمةِ الصياغة؟ فليَسْمَعْ أَجا إِكَبَات، مع مُنْشِدي الرِّكْ الذين يُحْسِنونَ الاستدعاء؛ ولِيُصْغِ الأفعى الكامنةُ في العُمق، بُدْهْنْيَا، عندَ القُربان.
