Sukta 10.4
ब्रह्म च ते जातवेदो नमश्चेयं च गीः सदमिद्वर्धनी भूत् । रक्षा णो अग्ने तनयानि तोका रक्षोत नस्तन्वो अप्रयुच्छन् ॥
bráhma ca te jāta-vedo námaś ceyáṃ ca gī́ḥ sádám íd várdhanī bhūt | rákṣā ṇo agne tánayāni tokā́ rákṣota nas tanvò ápra-yucchan ||
لكَ، يا جاتافيداس، الكلمةُ المقدّسةُ (براهْمَن) والخشوع؛ وهذه الأنشودةُ—فلتكنْ على الدوامِ مُنمّية. احفظْ لنا، يا أغني، أبناءَنا وامتدادَ نسلِنا؛ واحفظْ أيضًا أبدانَنا لئلّا تنفلتَ من التمسّكِ القويم.
