सविता यन्त्रैः पृथिवीमरम्णादस्कम्भने सविता द्यामदृंहत् । अश्वमिवाधुक्षद्धुनिमन्तरिक्षमतूर्ते बद्धं सविता समुद्रम् ॥

Transliteration

savitā́ yántraiḥ pṛthivī́m aramṇād askámbhane savitā́ dyā́m adṛṃhat | áśvam ivā́dhukṣad dhúnim antárikṣam atū́rte baddháṃ savitā́ samudrám ||

Translation

سافيتṛ، بقوى تسخيره وربطه، أقام الأرض في مسارها القويم؛ وفي الدعامة ثبّت السماء. وكفرسٍ حلب الفضاءَ المتلاطم بينهما؛ وسافيتṛ شدَّ المحيطَ في الحصن الذي لا يُنال—مُقِيمًا إيقاعات الوجود المنتظمة.
