Sukta 1.64
पिन्वन्त्यपो मरुतः सुदानवः पयो घृतवद्विदथेष्वाभुवः । अत्यं न मिहे वि नयन्ति वाजिनमुत्सं दुहन्ति स्तनयन्तमक्षितम् ॥
pínvanty apó marútaḥ su-dā́naváḥ páyo ghṛtá-vad vidátheṣv ā-bhúvaḥ | átyaṃ ná mihé ví nayanti vā́jinam útsaṃ duhanti stanáyantam ákṣitam ||
الماروتُ، واهبو الخير، يُفيضون المياه؛ وفي المجامع المقدّسة يحضرون بلبنٍ دسمٍ كالسمن المصفّى. وكجوادٍ سريعٍ في الضباب يقودون القوّةَ إلى الأمام؛ ويَحْلِبون النبعَ الرّاعِدَ الذي لا ينفد.
