Sukta 1.17

गन्तारा हि स्थोऽवसे हवं विप्रस्य मावतः । धर्तारा चर्षणीनाम् ॥

gántārā hí sthó ’váse hávaṁ víprasya mā́vataḥ | dhartārā carṣaṇīnā́m ||

إِنَّكُما لَأَنْتُما الآتِيانِ لِعَوْنِنا، تُصْغِيانِ إِلى نِداءِ الـvipra ذِي الدَّفْعِ القَوِيِّ؛ وَأَنْتُما حامِلا الشُّعوبِ، دَعائِمُ مَسيرِ البَشَرِ.
