Sukta 1.162
यदश्वस्य क्रविषो मक्षिकाश यद्वा स्वरौ स्वधितौ रिप्तमस्ति । यद्धस्तयोः शमितुर्यन्नखेषु सर्वा ता ते अपि देवेष्वस्तु ॥
yád aśvásya kravíṣo mákṣikāśa yád vā svárau svádhitau riptám ásti | yád hástayōḥ śamitúr yán nakhéṣu sárvā tā́ te ápi devéṣv astu ||
وأيًّا ما كان من دَنَسِ اللحم في الفرس من الذباب، وأيًّا ما كان ملطّخًا على السكين، وأيًّا ما كان على يدي المُعِدّ (śamitṛ)، وأيًّا ما كان على الأظفار—فليكن ذلك كلّه أيضًا بين الآلهة، مقبولًا مرفوعًا، مطهَّرًا بقبولهم.
