Sukta 1.162
यद्धविष्यमृतुशो देवयानं त्रिर्मानुषाः पर्यश्वं नयन्ति । अत्रा पूष्णः प्रथमो भाग एति यज्ञं देवेभ्यः प्रतिवेदयन्नजः ॥
yád haviṣyàm ṛtuśó devayā́naṃ trír mā́nuṣāḥ párī aśváṃ náyanti | átrā́ pū́ṣṇaḥ prathamó bhāgá eti yajñáṃ devébhyaḥ prativedáyan ajáḥ ||
حين تُساقُ قوّةُ القُربان، جاريةً على إيقاع الفصول، ثلاثَ مرّاتٍ بجهود البشر حول الجواد ذي القوّة السريعة؛ فهنا يكونُ النصيبُ الأوّلُ لِـPūṣan، الذي يُعرِّفُ اليَجْنَا للآلهة عن وعيٍ ويُبلِّغُها إليهم على وجهها الحقّ—هو ajá، الدليلُ الباطنُ غيرُ المولود.
