Sukta 1.147
बोधा मे अस्य वचसो यविष्ठ मंहिष्ठस्य प्रभृतस्य स्वधावः । पीयति त्वो अनु त्वो गृणाति वन्दारुस्ते तन्वं वन्दे अग्ने ॥
bódhā me asyá vácaso yaviṣṭha maṃhíṣṭhasya prá-bhṛtasya svadhāvaḥ | pī́yati tvo ánu tvo gṛṇāti vandā́rus te tánvaṃ vande agne ||
استيقظْ لكلمتي هذه، أيها الأصغر سنًّا، أيها القائمُ بقوّةِ السْفَدْها (svadhā)، المُقدَّمُ من أعظمِ فيضٍ. إنّ العابدَ يرتشفك، ويتبعك، ويرتّل وراءك؛ وأنا أنحني لجسدك ذاته، يا أغني (Agni).
