هذه ترنيمة أثرفافيدية قصيرة، وهي تعويذة موجزة للتطهير والشفاء تستمد قوتها من المطهِّرات الكونية—فايشفانارا (أغني)، وفاتا (الريح/النَّفَس)، وديَاو-بريثيفي (السماء–الأرض)—لتنقية دنس الجسد ووصمة الطقس. وهي تقرن إزالة النجاسة بالكسب الإيجابي: سُونْرِتا (الصدق/الكلام الكريم المبارك)، وفَرْكَس (حيوية متألِّقة)، والرخاء، وطول العمر، المعبَّر عنه بقولهم: «أن يرى شروق الشمس زمناً طويلاً».

للتطهير: ليُطهِّرْنا Vaiśvānara بأشعّته؛ وليُطهِّرْنا الريحُ السريعةُ بالنَّفَس، وبمياهِ السماء. ولتُطهِّرْنا السماءُ والأرضُ الغنيّتان باللبن، الحافظتان لـṚta (النظام الكوني)، المستحقّتان لـyajña (القربان).

تمسّكوا بفايشفاناري (Vaiśvānari)، حقيقةٍ لطيفةٍ كريمةٍ، التي تجعل آمالُها ذواتِنا محروسةً من الخلف. ومعها، ونحن نُنشِد في الولائم المشتركة، لعلّنا نكون سادةَ الثروات.
