Sukta 7.21
देवाश्चित्ते असुर्याय पूर्वेऽनु क्षत्राय ममिरे सहांसि । इन्द्रो मघानि दयते विषह्येन्द्रं वाजस्य जोहुवन्त सातौ ॥
devāś cit te asuryā́ya pū́rve ’nu kṣatrā́ya mamire sahā́ṃsi | índro maghā́ni dayate viṣáhya índraṃ vā́jasya johuvanta sātáu ||
Ngay cả các thần thời cổ cũng vì uy lực chủ tể (asurya) của ngươi mà đo định các sức mạnh, thuận theo quyền vương của ngươi. Indra ban những ân phúc khó bị khuất phục; trong cuộc thắng để đạt sự sung mãn của sức lực, người ta gọi Indra hết lần này đến lần khác.
