भूतान्यपि मृधे घोराण्युल्मुकैरस्थिभिः शरैः । जग्मुर्देवान्मृधे रोषाद्रुद्रस्य पुरतो बलात् ॥ २१.४३ ॥

bhūtāny api mṛdhe ghorāṇy ulmukair asthibhiḥ śaraiḥ | jagmur devān mṛdhe roṣād rudrasya purato balāt || 21.43 ||

اس ہولناک جنگ میں وہ ڈراؤنے بھوت بھی انگارے، ہڈیاں اور تیر پھینکتے ہوئے دیوتاؤں پر چڑھ آئے۔ غضب میں بھر کر وہ رُدر کے آگے آگے زور سے بڑھتے گئے۔
