Sukta 9.97
स वर्धिता वर्धनः पूयमानः सोमो मीढ्वाँ अभि नो ज्योतिषावीत् । येना नः पूर्वे पितरः पदज्ञाः स्वर्विदो अभि गा अद्रिमुष्णन् ॥
sá vardhitā́ várdhanaḥ pū́yamānaḥ sómo mīḍhvā́ṃ abhí no jyótiṣāvīt | yéna naḥ pū́rve pitáraḥ padájñāḥ svàrvido abhí gā́ ádrim uṣṇán ||
وہ بڑھا ہوا اور بڑھانے والا، سوما پاک ہوتا ہوا، داتا، روشنی لے کر ہمارے پاس آیا۔ اس سے ہمارے پرانے پیؤ، راستے جاننے والے، سورج دنیا پانے والے، پتھر توڑ کر گائیں جیتے۔
