तदा वा स्थावरे तेषु जातस्य हि भवेन नरः ॥ क्रमशः स भवेत्प्रेतस्तदा पशुगणेष्वपि
tadā vā sthāvare teṣu jātasya hi bhaven naraḥ || kramaśaḥ sa bhavet pretaḥ tadā paśugaṇeṣv api
หรืออีกนัยหนึ่ง เมื่อเกิดในหมู่สรรพสิ่งอันอยู่นิ่ง (สถาวร) แล้ว ด้วยภพชาติย่อมกลับเป็นมนุษย์อีก ครั้นตามลำดับก็เป็นเปรต และต่อจากนั้นยังไปเกิดในหมู่สัตว์เดรัจฉานเป็นฝูงด้วย
