Sukta 9.97
इन्दुं रिहन्ति महिषा अदब्धाः पदे रेभन्ति कवयो न गृध्राः । हिन्वन्ति धीरा दशभिः क्षिपाभिः समञ्जते रूपमपां रसेन ॥
índuṃ rihanti mahiṣā́ adabdhāḥ padé rebhanti kaváyo ná gṛ́dhrāḥ | hinvánti dhī́rā daśábhiḥ kṣípābhiḥ sám añjate rū́pam apā́ṃ rásena ||
เหล่าพลังอันแข็งแกร่ง ผู้ไม่ถูกลวง ลิ้มเลียอินทุ (Indu) อันสว่างไสว; เหล่าฤษีผู้เห็นแจ้งเปล่งเสียง ณ รอยย่าง ดุจนกแห่งทัศนะที่กระหาย. ผู้มั่นคงทั้งหลายเร่งเร้าเขาด้วยการฟาดอันรวดเร็วสิบครั้ง; แล้วชโลมรูปของเขาด้วยรส (rasa) แห่งสายน้ำทั้งหลาย.
