प्रो स्य वह्निः पथ्याभिरस्यान्दिवो न वृष्टिः पवमानो अक्षाः । सहस्रधारो असदन्न्यस्मे मातुरुपस्थे वन आ च सोमः ॥

Transliteration

pró syá vaḥníḥ pathyā́bhir asyān divó na vṛṣṭíḥ pávamāno akṣāḥ | sahásra-dhāro ásadann y àsmé mā́tur upásthe vána ā́ ca sómaḥ ||

Translation

เขาเคลื่อนไปข้างหน้า—ผู้แบกพลังแห่งไฟ—ไปตามหนทางอันชอบธรรม; ดุจฝนจากฟากฟ้า ผู้ชำระให้บริสุทธิ์หลั่งไหลออกมา. โสมะ (Soma) ผู้มีธาราพันสาย ตั้งมั่นอยู่ภายในเรา—ในตักของมารดา ในพงไพรที่งอกงาม—และมาถึงทุ่งแห่งภาวะของเรา.
