Sukta 9.86
अयं पुनान उषसो वि रोचयदयं सिन्धुभ्यो अभवदु लोककृत् । अयं त्रिः सप्त दुदुहान आशिरं सोमो हृदे पवते चारु मत्सरः ॥
ayáṃ punāná uṣáso ví rocayad ayáṃ síndhubhyo abhavad u loka-kṛ́t | ayáṃ tríḥ saptá duduhāná āśíraṃ sómo hṛdé pavate cā́ru matsaráḥ ||
โสมะนี้ เมื่อกำลังชำระตน ย่อมทำให้อุษาสะทั้งหลายส่องประกาย; ผู้นี้ได้เป็นผู้ก่อรูปแห่งระเบียบของโลกแก่สายน้ำทั้งหลาย (สินธุ). ผู้นี้รีดเอาน้ำบูชาที่ผสมแล้ว (āśir) สามคูณเจ็ดครั้ง; โสมะย่อมไหลชำระในดวงใจ—งามนัก ในความปีติอันทำให้เคลิบเคลิ้ม.
