पवस्व सोम दिव्येषु धामसु सृजान इन्दो कलशे पवित्र आ । सीदन्निन्द्रस्य जठरे कनिक्रदन्नृभिर्यतः सूर्यमारोहयो दिवि ॥

Transliteration

pávasva soma divyéṣu dhā́masu sṛjāná indo kalaśé pavítra ā́ | sī́dann índrasya jaṭháre kánikradan nṛ́bhir yatáḥ sū́ryam ā́rohayo diví ||

Translation

โสมะเอ๋ย จงชำระตนในแดนสถิตอันเป็นทิพย์; อินทุผู้ถูกปลดปล่อยเอ๋ย จงเข้าสู่หม้อบูชา เข้าสู่ตะแกรงกรอง (ปวิตระ). เมื่อนั่งอยู่ในครรภ์ของอินทระ ส่งเสียงกึกก้อง และได้รับการค้ำจุนด้วยพลังของมนุษย์ทั้งหลาย เจ้าได้ยกดวงอาทิตย์ขึ้นไว้บนสวรรค์.
