आ पवस्व मदिन्तम पवित्रं धारया कवे । अर्कस्य योनिमासदम् ॥

ā́ pavasva madíntama pavítraṃ dhā́rayā kave | arkásya yónim ā-sádam ||

จงชำระตนแล้วมาเถิด โอผู้ทำให้มึนเมายิ่งนัก; โอฤๅษีผู้หยั่งรู้ (kavi) จงไหลเป็นสายผ่านเครื่องกรอง แล้วประทับในครรภ์แห่งบทสรรเสริญ—แหล่งกำเนิดนั้น
