Sukta 6.27
सदस्य मदे सद्वस्य पीताविन्द्रः सदस्य सख्ये चकार । रणा वा ये निषदि सत्ते अस्य पुरा विविद्रे सदु नूतनासः ॥
sád asya máde sádv asya pītā́v índraḥ sád asya sakhyé cakāra | raṇā́ vā yé niṣádi sát te asya purā́ vívidre sádu nū́tanāsaḥ ||
ความปีติเมามาย (mada) ของเขาเป็นความจริง การดื่มด่ำความรื่นรมย์ (pītā) ของเขาก็เป็นความจริง; สิ่งที่อินทระได้รังสรรค์ด้วยมิตรภาพ (sakhya) นั้นเป็นความจริง. เหล่าผู้นั่งชิดในศึก (niṣadi) ได้พบเกี่ยวกับเขามาแต่กาลก่อนก็เป็นความจริง—และสิ่งที่ผู้แสวงหาใหม่ในบัดนี้พบก็เป็นความจริงเช่นกัน.
