Sukta 6.25
अध स्मा ते चर्षणयो यदेजानिन्द्र त्रातोत भवा वरूता । अस्माकासो ये नृतमासो अर्य इन्द्र सूरयो दधिरे पुरो नः ॥
ádha smā te carṣaṇáyo yád ejā́n índra trā́tota bhava varūtā́ | asmā́kāso yé nṛ́tamāso aryá índra sū́rayo dadhiré púro naḥ ||
ดังนั้นเมื่อหมู่ชนของท่านเคลื่อนไหว โอ้อินทระ—ขอท่านจงเป็นผู้กู้เรา และเป็นผู้พิทักษ์คุ้มครองล้อมรอบเรา เพราะบรรดาผู้เป็นของเรา ผู้กล้าหาญยิ่งและเป็นอารยะ (Ārya) —โอ้อินทระ เหล่าวีรชนผู้เป็นฤๅษีผู้เห็นแจ้ง—ได้ตั้งท่านไว้เบื้องหน้าเรา เป็นป้อมปราการของเรา
