Sukta 6.25
स पत्यत उभयोर्नृम्णमयोर्यदी वेधसः समिथे हवन्ते । वृत्रे वा महो नृवति क्षये वा व्यचस्वन्ता यदि वितन्तसैते ॥
sá patyate ubháyor nṛmṇám ayór yádī vedhásaḥ samithé hávante | vṛtré vā mahó nṛvátī kṣáye vā vyácasvantā yádi vitántasaite ||
เมื่อผู้เรียกขานผู้มีปัญญาเชื้อเชิญเขาในสมรภูมิ เขาย่อมเป็นเจ้าแห่งพลังมนุษย์ (nṛ́mṇa) ของทั้งสองฝ่าย ไม่ว่าจะต่อกรกับวฤตระ (Vṛtra) หรือเพื่อความเพิ่มพูนอันยิ่งใหญ่ในเรือนที่อุดมด้วยผู้คน เมื่อเหล่าผู้แผ่กว้างกางตนออก เขาย่อมมีชัยเหนือกว่า
