ऋधद्यस्ते सुदानवे धिया मर्तः शशमते । ऊती ष बृहतो दिवो द्विषो अंहो न तरति ॥
Transliteration
ṛ́dhad yás te sudā́nave dhiyā́ mártaḥ śáśamate | ūtī́ ṣá bṛható divó dvíṣo áṃho ná tarati ||
Translation
ผู้ใดเจริญตนด้วยความคิดและการปรนนิบัติแด่ท่าน—โอ้ผู้ให้ทานอันงาม (sudānava)—ผู้นั้นแม้เป็นมนุษย์ผู้ต้องตายก็ถึงความเป็นนายตน. ด้วยความอุปถัมภ์ (ūtí) อันไพศาลแห่งสวรรค์สูง เขาย่อมไม่ข้ามไปสู่ความคับแค้นและมลทิน (aṃhas) ที่ศัตรูจะก่อให้.
