अग्निं तं मन्ये यो वसुरस्तं यं यन्ति धेनवः । अस्तमर्वन्त आशवोऽस्तं नित्यासो वाजिन इषं स्तोतृभ्य आ भर ॥
agníṃ táṃ manye yó vásur ástam yáṃ yánti dhenávaḥ | ástam árvanta āśávo’stáṃ nítyāso vājína íṣan stotṛ́bhya ā́ bhara ||
ข้าถือว่าอัคนี (Agni) องค์นั้นคือทรัพย์แท้ (vasu) เป็นเรือนที่พลังผู้หลั่งน้ำนม (dhénavaḥ) มุ่งไปหา. ม้าอันรวดเร็ววิ่งสู่เรือนนั้น เหล่าวาชินผู้แข็งแรงซึ่งเกิดใหม่ไม่ขาดก็เร่งแรงสู่เรือนนั้น—ขอจงนำ “อิษ” (íṣ) คือแรงดล และความบริบูรณ์แห่งพลัง มาสู่เหล่านักสรรเสริญเถิด.
