Sukta 5.46
देवानां पत्नीरुशतीरवन्तु नः प्रावन्तु नस्तुजये वाजसातये । याः पार्थिवासो या अपामपि व्रते ता नो देवीः सुहवाः शर्म यच्छत ॥
devā́nāṃ pátnīr uśatī́r avantu naḥ prá̄vantu nas tujáye vā́ja-sātaye | yā́ḥ pā́rthivāso yā́ apā́m ápi vraté tā́ no devī́ḥ su-hávāḥ śárma yacchata ||
ขอให้เหล่าเทวี—ชายาของเทพทั้งหลาย ผู้กระตือรือร้นในพระกรุณา—คุ้มครองเรา ขอให้ท่านทั้งหลายพาเราไปข้างหน้า เพื่อศึกอันกดดันและเพื่อชัยชนะอันเป็นความบริบูรณ์แห่งพลัง ไม่ว่าท่านจะเป็นผู้แห่งแผ่นดิน หรือเป็นผู้แห่งสายน้ำและกฎ (vrata) ของสายน้ำนั้น ขอเทวีผู้เรียกหาได้โดยง่าย จงประทานความสงบและที่พึ่งอันมั่นคงแก่เรา
