Sukta 5.44
यादृगेव ददृशे तादृगुच्यते सं छायया दधिरे सिध्रयाप्स्वा । महीमस्मभ्यमुरुषामुरु ज्रयो बृहत्सुवीरमनपच्युतं सहः ॥
yādṛ́g evá dadṛ́śe tā́dṛg ucyate sáṃ chāyáyā dadhire sidhráyā ap-sv ā́ | mahī́m asmábhyam uruṣā́m urú jráyo bṛhát suvī́ram anapacyútam sáhaḥ ||
เขาถูกเห็นอย่างไร ก็ถูกกล่าวถึงอย่างนั้น; พวกเขายึดเขาไว้ร่วมกันด้วยเงาในสายน้ำ. เพื่อพวกเรา จงทำให้ความยิ่งใหญ่แผ่กว้าง—กว้างในความคุ้มครอง กว้างในกำลังอันฉับไว—สูงส่ง อุดมด้วยวีรชน ไม่ตกหล่น คือพลังนั้น.
